IA East Field Trip
We traveled next door to the IA to work on our teambuilding skills. In doing a yarn/web activity, students learned that we are all connected. Our actions have consequences; both positive and negative. Students then broke into four different groups and rotated through stations. Different challenges were given at each station and students had to work together to accomplish their task. It was exciting to see how well all the students worked to come up with interesting and unique solutions. The field trip ended with a Crossing Over activity and a “Would You Rather” activity. With these, students learned more about each other. Students had the opportunity to learn more about each other and see that they are never alone. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, including the staff.
